Pero este prodigioso cefal\u00f3podo tambi\u00e9n ha demostrado ser no solamente una bestia aterradora sino una fuente de alimentaci\u00f3n muy sana al estar compuesto por una clase de prote\u00edna magra. Las ventajas de sus nutrientes son su escaso contenido de calor\u00edas y de apenas carbohidratos y grasa, estando el contrapeso en su abundancia de amino\u00e1cidos y de micronutrientes decisivos como las vitaminas, los minerales y los oligoelementos, una caracter\u00edstica que tambi\u00e9n distingue al pulpo de otros animales porque los porcentajes de esos alimentos contenidos en su carne resultan extraordinarios. Baste decir que una cantidad tan peque\u00f1a como son 100 gramos de pulpo cocido (hervido o al vapor) tienen aproximadamente:<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>165 calor\u00edas<\/li>\n<li>4,5 gramos de carbohidratos<\/li>\n<li>\u00a129 gramos de prote\u00edna!<\/li>\n<li>2,5 gramos de grasa<\/li>\n<li>0 gramos de fibra<\/li>\n<li>\u00a1Casi el doble de las Necesidades Diarias de Vitamina B12 y m\u00e9todo de preparaci\u00f3n del pulpo y los alimentos que le a\u00f1adamos al condimentarlo -legumbres, verduras, otras prote\u00ednas, sal- pueden alterar la textura y el sabor de esta comida tan apetitosa y nutritiva as\u00ed como el valor final que le distingue como uno de los nutrientes m\u00e1s sanos y efectivos del reino animal. Hay que evitar, sobre todo, las frituras de pulpo en que este queda expuesto durante largo rato a temperaturas muy elevadas o se prepara utilizando aceites de mala calidad o transaturados por haber sido usados antes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Tambi\u00e9n deb\u00e9is tener en cuenta que el pulpo seco puede llegar a contener hasta tres veces m\u00e1s sal que la misma cantidad de pulpo fresco cocido. No olvid\u00e9is nunca que el pulpo en lata suele venir acompa\u00f1ado de aceite, lo que incrementa la cantidad de calor\u00edas. Procurad elegir siempre pulpo cocido, hervido o a la plancha en vez de frito.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>El muy elevado porcentaje de selenio y de vitamina B12 -micronutrientes fundamentales para la salud general, la vitalidad, el buen funcionamiento sexual y el desarrollo de los m\u00fasculos- convierten al pulpo en alimento indispensable para la formaci\u00f3n de gl\u00f3bulos rojos, lucha contra los radicales libres y s\u00edntesis del ADN. La clase de nutrientes en que abunda el pulpo puede resultar una manera natural muy adecuada para combatir la inflamaci\u00f3n y proteger contra las enfermedades y dolencias del sistema card\u00edaco. No olvid\u00e9is consumir habitualmente este alimento.
